For the third year in a row, Flexential is the title sponsor for the Denver Post’s Ride The Rockies Bicycle Tour. The event, held June 9-15, 2018, is a week-long cycling tour through the Rocky Mountains that takes participants through the greatest scenery Colorado has to offer. Proceeds from the ride benefit The Denver Post Community Foundation, which raises and distributes funds and provides in-kind services to nonprofit organizations throughout Colorado, and a $5,000 grant is provided to an eligible non-profit agency in each host town along the tour.
As one of the nation’s premier cycling events, Ride The Rockies attracts riders from all fifty states and around the world. We’re thrilled to once again sponsor the Ride – our fifth year in a row. ViaWest has long championed charitable initiatives in the region, and we will continue to do so as Flexential.
Since the tour began in 2001, more than $585,000 has been granted to towns across Colorado. Today, The Denver Post and The Denver Post Community Foundation remain dedicated to serving communities throughout the state via its Signature Events series, which includes Ride The Rockies and Pedal The Plains. By continuing its rich legacy of giving, and through the support of the event’s sponsors, participants and volunteers, the community improves and enriches the lives of those in need in the Denver area.
Of the many philanthropic initiatives that Flexential takes part in, the Ride The Rockies Tour is one that we’re especially proud to support. Giving back to communities we serve is a cornerstone of our company, and this special event brings people from all over the world to enjoy Colorado’s beautiful Rocky Mountains while supporting deserving nonprofits. We’re looking forward to another successful tour this year, and are thrilled to once again support this year’s ride and Colorado’s communities!
