In addition, QAD needed to deliver on rigorous requirements for uptime and reliability. To fulfill these requirements across different continents and time zones while trying to maintain cost goals.
As QAD’s business has evolved, the company worked with ViaWest to develop a fully managed hosting solution. ViaWest began procuring, hosting and managing the physical infrastructure, taking over those responsibilities from QAD’s internal staff. This has enabled QAD to support this fast growing line of business.
