Qualified employees, who are continuing their education, have family commitments or other obligations can work evenings or nights in our Network Operations Centers to accommodate personal needs. We also offer alternative work arrangements which allow successful employees to work flex time and to work from a home office.

At ViaWest, we encourage employees to add fun into the daily workplace enviornment and we offer many programs both to identify and celebrate outstanding performance, as well as social activities to promote strong work relationships and community awareness.

1. NOC Rock AwardsYes, this award is actually a rock. This award program was created by members of our solutions engineering department to recognize people in other departments that have stepped above the already incredibly high bar that ViaWest staff as a whole sets. The NOC Rock is given quarterly to one employee who continually has gone above and beyond in their help and support of the NOC staff.


2. Yippee CommitteeViaWest even has a committee of employees with their own funds to host happy hours, meet and greet socials, parties and celebrations of all types! This Committee is comprised of members from every department within the company, and meets monthly to discuss new ideas and events that all employees are welcome participate in.


3. Community ProgramsViaWest is a firm believer in giving back to the communities in which the company resides. As a company ViaWest has contributed to hundreds of non-profit and charitable organizations through donations, corporate sponsorships, and employee volunteer involvement. ViaWest believes in being a good corporate citizen in all our communities, which to us, is so much more than just sponsoring a table at a charity event to receive recognition and a plaque.
